JACKSONVILLE. Fla. – A Jacksonville dog is making the trip to New York to compete at this year’s Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on Tuesday.

Abba, known as Grand Champion Felixville’s “Dancing Queen,” is an 18-month-old rat terrier competing for the “Best of Breed” title for the first time.

Her “mom” Meghan Richards says they’ve been preparing for the show for months. Abba’s father and grandfather won “Best of Breed” in 2018 and 2019. Megan hopes that winning runs in the family, but she says a female rat terrier has never won before.

Abba is making her debut tomorrow morning and will be graded on her appearance. You can watch her exhibit at 9 a.m. Tuesday on Fox Sports.

Good luck, Abba!
