We're learning more - about the Nassau County Deputy who was involved in a deadly shooting. Anthony Bartley's family says he was unarmed when he encountered deputy Wilfred Quick last week. But investigators say the 21 year old attacked the deputy - who was then forced to shoot him.. Tim Pulliam has been going through the deputy's personnel file. Tim what have you learned? 3 3 3 Over a ten year period we found that he's been disciplined a handful of times - But there are also some commendations in his file. 3 1'05-1'10This is just some of what we found when we looked through this stack of papers from Deputy Wilfred Quick's personnel file - In 2003, while on probation as a corrections officer, Quick was reprimanded for asking a new recruit to lie about searching inmates. He was fired then rehired.In 2008, Quick, was commended for his work in arresting a convicted felon during a traffic stop who was in possession of two firearms. In a letter sheriff, T.L. Tommy Seagraves thanked him for his professionalism and attention to detail.CAN WE FLIP THESE AROUND PLEASE? Deputy Quick's was required to take a drivers improvement course.
