On November 9, the city of Jacksonville will hold a household hazardous waste and e-waste (electronic waste) collection event.
Duval County residents can bring household items containing toxic chemicals (paint; paint thinners; fertilizers; antifreeze; etc. and old electronics -- televisions, scanners, computer monitors, VCRs, printers, etc. -- to Normandy Park, 1728 Lindsey Road.
This free event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
