Originally from Washington state, I moved to Jacksonville in late 2002 to work for WJXT.
While my primary job in Jacksonville is reporting, I have done most jobs that TV news has to offer -- from weather to sports to anchoring. I cover all kinds of stories for Channel 4, but cover military issues when I can.
Most of my time away from the station is spent with my wife, Holly.
I have enjoyed getting to know more about Florida in my time here, and all that there is to do. I'm usually a homebody, but since making the move, I spend a lot of time at the beach.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching television rather than making it. I also spend a lot of time reading and am currently writing my first book.
