3 Neighbors in an Arlington apartment complex are on-edge tonight...after police say a man's body was found in one of the units. Police were called to the Willow Lakes apartments on Jasper Avenue-- that's near Atlantic boulevard. They say a neighbor went to check on the man and made the gruesome discovery. Channel 4's Ashley Harding joins us now live with more on this, Ashley? 3 Police have not yet released this victim's name. But some of the people who live in that complex tell me this is not the first serious incident. This crime map taken from JSO's website mark several incidents in that area and those around it.This is definitely not comforting news for a lot of these neighbors. 3 26-29Super: Sgt. Officials say a man was found dead inside one of the units. They believe he is the victim of foul play.12:46--12:49 "just a concerned neighbor went to go check on him earlier today." 12:29--12:38 3 "they went inside, they found a black male in his late 40's lying unresponsive. He was bleeding from his body."TRACK Police aren't saying much about how this man was killed. They say there was no sign of forced entry and they didn't mention if any kind of weapon was found. Those who live in the complex say scenes like this are becoming all too familiar. Jennifer Morales says Sunday night, her friend's fiance, Justin Bryan, was stabbed by another man just a couple buildings over. She showed us these photos of his injuries.14:50--15:03 "what happened last night was really un-called for. The guy came at my best friend. I saw what happened. A 7 year old saw what happened. And this is an autistic 7-year old."TRACK This crime map shows several police incidents reported over the last month...all within a one mile radius of Jasper Avenue. We counted 11 aggravated assaults or batteries, 5 robberies or home invasions, and 15 reports of vandalism.With Monday's incident still fresh in their minds, neighbors hope to see change.16:33--16:36 "I haven't even gotten over last night, and we're coming back to see this." 3 Police did say they're still looking for more witnesses in this case.
