The morning after a mass shooting at a Connecticut elementary school left almost 30 people dead, more details are emerging about Friday's attack. Rene Marsh is live in Newtown, Connecticut, with the latest.

OFFICIALS ARE NOT YET READY TO RELEASE THE NAMES OF THE VICTIMS. THEY SAID THAT THE INVESTIGATION OF THE CRIME SCENE WILL TAKE AT LEAST ANOTHER DAY OR TWO. MEANWHILE THIS COMMUNITY IS EAGER FOR ANSWERS.
SATURDAY MORNING BROUGHT NEW DETAILS ABOUT THE ATTACK ON THIS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, AND THE VICTIMS KILLED .
The victims have been postively identified by the office of the chief state's medical examiner. They're still in the process of doing some of their work.
THERE ARE STILL MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT FRIDAY'S SHOOTING AT SANDY HOOK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, BUT THE MOST COMMON ONE IS, "WHY?"
In these times of troubles and travail, when the unthinkable happens in our very midst, our faith is tested.
AT THE CENTER OF THE PUZZLE, ADAM LANZA, THE 20-YEAR-OLD IDENTIFIED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS AS THE SHOOTER.
HE HAD NO KNOWN CRIMINAL RECORD BEFORE ENTERING THE SCHOOL FRIDAY MORNING, DRESSED IN BLACK FATIGUES AND A MILITARY VEST. HE WAS FOUND DEAD IN A CLASSROOM, APPARENTLY BY HIS OWN HAND.
THE VICTIMS ARE BEING MOURNED ACROSS THE NATION... LIKE AT THIS CANDLELIGHT VIGIL AT THE U-S CAPITOL FRIDAY NIGHT.
Everybody in the town knows everybody. There's nobody who's not going to be affected. It's awful.
THE PRESIDENT'S WEEKLY ADDRESS ALSO FOCUSED ON THE TRAGEDY.
The love they felt for those they lost endures not just in their own memories, but also in their community, and their country.
BUT NOWHERE IS THE SADNESS MORE PALPABLE, THAN IN THIS SMALL COMMUNITY.
It's impacted the town, its impacted the state, the world, the U-S. It's a hirrible thing. people say you know, why?
