A tragic collision on the westside involving this now battered police car. It leaves a motorcyclist dead, and a family grieving... 3 Annie Bullard-- who you just heard from-- arrived to the scene after hearing about the crash on the news this morning. She PRAYED it wasn't her father, but KNEW he took that route home from work every day. Police later confirmed her worst fears: They identified the motorcyclist as her father, 56- year-old Ray Bullard. They say Bullard hit the back of the police cruiser at the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and Jammes Road. It happened around 3 o'clock in the morning. The officer was responding to a call at the time. Channel 4's Ashley Harding spoke to police and Bullard's family and joins us LIVE from that intersection. He looked out for everybody. He'd give you the shirt off his back if you needed it."TRACK Police say the accident happened around 3:00 this morning after Officer J.T. Kramarsic slowed down at the intersection of Jammes and Wilson. They say Bullard's motorcycle hit the rear of the police car and he died at the scene. Police say the officer's emergency lights and sirens were ON at the time of the accident.This morning we spoke with Bullard's daughter, who was very distraught."six kids devastated because of our dad passing away because of them? He says he wants to get to the bottom about exactly what happened with the crash, but for now, what matters is honoring his brother."I have to go on for him, and for myself too.
