News Producer

Will be responsible to organize the program format, direct production staff and on-air talent in their duties, write portions of the program, supervise editing and dubbing of the tapes and time the broadcast. Be creative, organized, a good writer and have the ability to communicate effectively with reporters, the assignment desk and other news staff. Will work directly with news department executives in the planning and execution of daily assignment schedules and news programs.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:  Minimum two years experience in the newsroom.  College degree in journalism or communications preferred. Must have good news judgment. Must be able to work flexible hours.
