Candidate must have a working knowledge of Good Composition, Lighting, and Story Telling; should have experience with Panasonic cameras and nonlinear editing; should have knowledge of the Velocity system or similar nonlinear editing software, and be able to edit news packages in a timely manner using this laptop editing system. It is desired that candidate understand the P2 workflow, of ingesting video, and transferring that video to other platforms.

Candidate must operate a Microwave truck, and comprehend the safety procedures required to safely drive and establish trucks for live shots. Will be required to Operate Satellite Trucks, and learn how to identify and acquire satellites for transmissions of live shots.

Photojournalists are also required to learn and operate platforms such as live cast and other PC based video streaming systems.

Understanding of the Assignment desk and its responsibilities will be required so that photographers can fill-in on desk assignments when needed. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
