Weekend anchor, reporter
"Sometimes, I wish and everything!"
They're the answers to the most common questions Adrienne Moore gets as Channel 4's weekend anchor/reporter.
"Do anchors dress differently from the waist down?" "Does someone do your makeup?" and "What topics do you like to report on?"
The Emmy award-winning reporter moved across the country to join WJXT in June 2012. She comes to Jacksonville from KFMB-TV in San Diego, Calif., where she worked as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor.
Adrienne caught the journalism bug while attending college, and took her first job behind the scenes as an associate producer at KOVR-13 in Sacramento. After graduating from CSUS Sacramento, she moved in front of the camera at KHSL-KNVN in Chico, and later took a job as weekend anchor/reporter at KSBY-TV in San Luis Obispo. Adrienne also worked as a reporter/fill-in anchor at KGTV in San Diego.
In California, she covered the historic recall of Governor Gray Davis, Michael Jackson's molestation trial, the U.S. Open, San Diego's devastating 2008 Wildfires, and dozens of high profile murder cases that have landed her on Larry King Live and 48 Hours Mystery.
Adrienne has a passion for storytelling and loves meeting new people every day. She loves that her "office" constantly changes, with stories taking her to different spots all across Northeastern Florida.
A former gymnast for nearly 14 years, Adrienne is a self-proclaimed "adrenaline junkie" who loves doing anything active and outdoors. From skydiving to running marathons, she never shies away from a new challenge.
When she's not covering the days top stories, Adrienne is devoted to charity work with children, soaking up the sun at the beach with friends and family, devouring sushi and exploring everything Jacksonville has to offer.
