Wife found dead after man's suicide at gun range
Detectives investigate deaths at South Fla. home, gun range as possible murder-suicide
LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. — Authorities are investigating deaths of a woman at her South Florida home and her husband at a nearby gun range as a possible murder-suicide.
The Broward County Sheriff's Office says a 52-year-old man went to the Arizona Gun Range in Lauderdale Lakes on Saturday. He rented a gun, went to the target shooting area and then shot himself in the head.
The man was transported to a hospital where he later died.
When detectives went to notify his wife, they found her dead in a bedroom inside the couple's home. They had been married since 1997.
Investigators believe the deaths are a possible murder-suicide.
Their names have not been released.
