ORLANDO, Fla. – A former First Coast High School football player is being called a hero after he helped University of Central Florida police catch a suspect Wednesday.
Tristan Payton is a wide receiver for the UCF Knights football team.

Payton and another man, Joseph Morton, helped catch a suspect accused of filming cheerleader campers in an arena bathroom on his phone.
Police said Payton tackled the suspect as he attempted to run away.
UCF police department tweeted their gratitude for Payton's quick action on Thursday.

Payton was even offered a job application to the UCF police department for his heroism on campus.
