An American Eagle flight that originated in the Big Easy and bound for Chicago was anything but easy.
Flight 3720, a Bombardier CRJ-700, had 26 passengers and four crew aboard when it hit severe turbulence on Wednesday, injuring three people.
The plane landed safely in Chicago.
American Airlines, the parent of the regional American Eagle service, provided no details about the injuries other than to say one person was taken to a hospital and two others refused treatment.
