Kuhn's Flowers caters to last minute lovers

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – With Valentine's Day falling on a Sunday this year, most people will be getting their flowers at work on Friday, February 12th.

Owner of Kuhn's Flowers, Marty McCall said, "Ladies love to get their flowers at work. It makes them feel special when they get that delivery and they can show it off at their desk."

The ladies in the News4Jax newsroom agree with Marty! That's why Kuhn's is promising that even if you place an order Friday morning or very early Friday afternoon, they will get the bouquet or basket delivered by the close of business that day. If you need delivery Saturday or Sunday and wait until that day to order, they will also make sure to get your order and delivery taken care of. They've hired 100 drivers to make sure they can handle all of the orders.

If you don't want to have the flowers delivered, you can walk in to the store on Beach Boulevard and pick from a wide variety of arrangements. They even have candy and stuffed animals. They've set up five cash registers to handle the large number of walk-ins that they've come to expect around February 14th.

Kuhn's will be open Thursday until 6 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can reach them by calling (904) 398-8601.
