UF warns of email phishing scam

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A new phishing scam is circulating that includes a link to a fake University of Florida login page, school officials warn.

The email is a scam and anyone who receives it should delete the message immediately.

Officials ask users to share the scam alert with anyone who needs to be made aware of it.

Any users who respond to the phishing attack by entering their UF username and password on the fictitious login web form should contact the UF Help Desk at 352-392-HELP immediately for a password change and compromised account response procedures.

Passwords can also be changed at https://account.it.ufl.edu/
