Wendy's is investigating a possible data breach.

If you've eaten at Wendy's recently, you may want to check your bank statements. The fast food restaurant is investigating claims of possible fraudulent charges to customers' credit and debit cards.

Wendy's is looking into unusual activity on customers' cards in some locations. A company representative says some of the cards may have been used for other purchases after being used in the restaurant.

The company learned of the data breach earlier this month. It is working with cybersecurity experts to get to the bottom of what happened.

At this point, it is not clear if any of the possible data breaches occurred in Florida, or how many cards were stolen. If you have eaten at Wendy's recently and used a debit or credit card, you might want to check your bank statements to make sure there aren't any unauthorized purchases.
