Win 'Two Towers' Movie Collectibles
Statutes, Busts Based On 'Rings' Characters
Excited about the video and DVD release of "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" and the upcoming theatrical release of "The Return of the King"? Then enter for your chance to win unique collectibles in our new News 4 Jax
@ The Movies and
Sideshow-Weta Collectibles "Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" movie contest.
Based on characters from the big screen adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Two Towers," the first series of the statues, polystone busts and other collectibles from the WETA Workshop and Sideshow Toy are now available.
Three grand-prize winners will be selected at random to win either a Gandalf the White statue, Gimli statue or Easterling statue. Three runners-up will be selected at random to win either a Legolas bust, Saruman bust or Grima Wormtongue bust. All the items (pictured in our interactive's contest section) are limited edition "high-end" collectibles made of polystone.
The collectibles are unique in that they were created by the WETA Workshop -- the same artisans who sculpted and forged the prosthetics, makeup, costumes and props for the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
"The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" debuts on DVD Aug. 26.
The contest runs through Sept. 7. Winners' names and cities of residence will be posted on the @ The Movies contest winners' page and will receive their prizes by mail. The contest is for U.S. residents only. For contest rules,
