JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida State College at Jacksonville's board of trustees voted Tuesday to appoint an interim president.
Willis Holcombe will be offered the position by board Chair Gwen Yates.

The board will vote to confirm his contract at the Jan. 8 meeting.
Holcombe was president of Broward Community College for 17 years and was chancellor of the Florida College System for four years.
Bruce Barcelo was appointed vice president for Duval County campuses.
