FSCJ's forensic team wins first state championship

JACKSONVILLE., Fla. – For the first time in 25 years, Florida State College at Jacksonville’s (FSCJ) Forensics Team became state champions last weekend.

On February 6, 2016, the team came in first place at the FCSAA Forensics State Championship, the state tournament for all community and state colleges in Florida. FSCJ’s South Campus hosted seven schools for the event, including national powerhouse Tallahassee Community College.

Saman Jaberi was named the fourth best speaker in the state, Adonis Lane was named the third best in the state and CJ Andrews was named the top novice at the tournament.
