Max Greenfield earned an Emmy nod for his portrayal of Schmidt on "New Girl," and he has no doubt more nominations would roll in if he landed the role of Christian Grey in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie.

Greenfield, who walked the Emmys red carpet Sunday in custom Brooks Brothers - "tailored within an inch of his life," as his wife Tess Sanchez told E! - said that he'd be happy to drop trou for "Fifty Shades" on the big screen.

Full frontal? "That's not a problem. That's not the issue," Greenfield said. "It's whether they want to see that much intensity on screen. I don't know who's involved with it right now, but I'm ready and available."

If Greenfield did nab the role, "what a magical movie" it would be, he deadpanned. "I'll see you at the Oscars."
