The competition between NBC's "The Voice" and Fox's "The X Factor" is now a little less friendly.
The two shows are both launching their fall seasons next week, and at first, NBC's "The Voice" was going to premiere on September 10 and September 11.
Meanwhile, Fox's "X Factor" would debut its new judges panel, including Britney Spears and Demi Lovato, on September 12 and September 13.
But NBC announced Wednesday that "The Voice's" third season premiere will now be a three-night affair, stretching from September 10 through September 12. The first night will be the previously scheduled two-hour debut, with the following two nights highlighting blind auditions from 8-9 p.m. ET.
The move has turned next Wednesday, September 12 into a head-to-head competition as Fox will kick off a new season of "X Factor" at 8 p.m.
Rumor has it Simon Cowell is not at all pleased.
