Sure, you can conserve energy, send e-mails instead of letters and buy hybrid cars. But thinking green doesn't always mean something environmental.

For fans of comedy movie classics, thinking green means memories of "Caddyshack" -- the classic sports comedy set in and around an exclusive golf course. The movie, starring Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield and Ted Knight, scored a hole-in-one with moviegoers in 1980.

The cultural impact of "Caddyshack" can still be felt today, as evidenced by an honor last year by the American Film Institute -- which named the film No. 7 on its list of best sports genre films.

The film has also been honored on a larger scale by AFI. In 2000, "Caddyshack" came in at No. 71 on the organization's "100 Years … 100 Laughs" list, which honored the greatest comedies of all time.

Then in 2005, the words of the movie's slob groundskeeper, Carl Spackler (Murray), were immortalized on AFI's "100 Years … 100 Quotes" list.

Coming in at No. 92, Spackler's quote was none other than the immortal quip, "Cinderella story. Outta nowhere. A former greenskeeper, now, about to become the Masters champion. It looks like a mirac ... It's in the hole! It's in the hole!"
