After playing adulterous lovers on "Mad Men," Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser are ready for marriage in real life.

Bledel's rep confirms to CNN that the 31-year-old actress is engaged to Kartheiser, 33.

The twosome were first linked last summer after they were spotted kissing on a mid-June flight from New York to Los Angeles.

According to Us Weekly, they'd been dating for a few months at the time. The magazine reports that Kartheiser popped the question a few weeks ago, and with a sizable ring.

Maybe the couple can throw a joint engagement/"Mad Men" premiere viewing party when the AMC show returns for its sixth season on April 7.
