The wait is over for proud parents Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.

Their newest family member, a baby boy, has made his arrival, a rep for Gellar confirms.

The 35-year-old actress revealed she was expecting over the summer, and a source close to the couple shared at the time that they were excited for their 3-year-old daughter, Charlotte Grace, to have a little brother.

"They love their little girl more than anything in the world and know that love will only multiply," the source said.

Gellar and Prinze Jr., 36, wed in Mexico in 2002.
