Justin Bieber officially graduates from high school
Star skips commencement ceremony
Break out the balloons and streamers: Justin Bieber is officially a high school graduate.
The 18-year-old Canadian superstar reportedly earned his degree online and is now a part of the 2012 graduating class of St. Michael Catholic Secondary School in Stratford, Ontario, where he's from, MSNBC reports.
His mom didn't get to snap pictures of Biebs crossing the stage in a cap and gown, though, as the Canadian news service QMI reports that Bieber didn't show up for the commencement ceremony last Thursday.
Well, at least his name was included in the program! And the school did note that it was proud of their homegrown star.
"We are very proud of Justin and all of the other 192 graduates of St. Michael school, however, we're not at liberty to discuss any personal plans or information about Justin or any other graduate," the school's principal Tim Doherty told QMI.
St. Michael's requires its students to complete 30 credits, including 16 mandatory classes.
