Dozens of tubas, sousaphones, baritones and euphoniums will gather next month at Jacksonville Landing for Jacksonville's 18th annual TubaChristmas.
The traditional Christmas music in four-part harmony will be performed at 2 p.m. Dec. 8th at the Landing. The performance is free.
Since TubaChristmas events began in New York City in 1974, the events have spread to 189 cities -- nine in Florida.
Conducting for the 13th year will be Dr. Marc Dickman, professor of music at the University of North Florida.
For more information or to register to participate in the performance, call Suna and Art Hall at 904-269-9819.
