It's a chance for you to show your love for your favorite Walgreens and save a life.

The Blood Alliance is partnering with area Walgreens to host Northeast Florida's first "battle of Communities." This friendly competition is an effort to raise awareness for the constant need of blood donations. The winning Walgreens store will celebrate with a community luncheon at BONOS. The stores participating:

Community Battle #1:
Walgreens on Normandy Boulevard, North Main Street , South Orange Avenue in Green Cove Springs, Blanding Boulevard in Middleburg and 103rd Street.
Hours are from 9 am to Noon

Community Battle #2:

Walgreens on Soutel Drive, Lem Turner Road, Cassat Avenue, U.S. Highway 1 in Callahan, Blanding Boulevard in Middleburg.
Hours are from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Everyone who registers to donate with the Blood Alliance from August 29, 2012 to January 2013 will be automatically entered into a random drawing for a 2013 Buick Verano.
