Florida Black Expo Returns to Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

It’s a celebration of area chefs and a chance to do some networking during the Florida Black Expo.

The 11th annual Expo will began at 10;30 a.m. Saturday at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. This year’s theme is Mind, Body and Soul. It will end at 7 p.m.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend seminars throughout the day, get free screenings at the health fair plus new this year the NASCAR interactive Experience. There will be live music from Eric Benet, Tamar Braxton, and other celebrities. There will be a Kids zone and Gospel Best Showcase. The legendary Bobby Jones will emcee the competition.

General admission will be available at the door, $15 for adults, $6 for kids ages 6-12 and parking will be free.
