Back-To-School Fest coming Saturday

The 5th annual Walmart Back-to-School Fest will be held on Saturday at the Jacksonville Landing.

Dozens will vendors will be on hand to give away more than 200,000 free school supplies.

Children will receive one free backpack to fill with school supplies. There will also be drinks and food, while supplies last. Walmart Vision Center will be on hand to provide free vision screenings. There will also be cholesterol screenings provided by Cholestcheck in addition to blood pressure checks.

On the Landing’s Riverfront stage, there will be a fashion show as well as live entertainment throughout the day.

This event is open to the public and it begins at 10 a.m. and goes until 1 p.m.
