It’s one of the largest events held each year in the city of Jacksonville. On Saturday, thousands of new toys will be handed out to as many as 8,000 of Jacksonville’s children in need.
The Children’s Christmas Party of Jacksonville will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 12:30 p.m. or until all the toys are given out. It will be held at the Prime Osborn convention Center in Downtown Jacksonville. No registration is required and it is first-come, first-served.
Each child will receive as many as three unwrapped toys. Tickets for bicycles are handed out randomly.
The Children’s Christmas Party of Jacksonville was founded in December 1999 by Travis and Margaret Storey with the mission of providing toys to kids who may not receive toys for Christmas.
