Lace up your shoes and join thousands as they walk to raise money for the no.1 and no. 4 threat to men and women.
The First Coast Heart Walk will be held Saturday, September 22 at Metropolitan Park.
More than 16,000 people walked last year making it one of Jacksonville’s largest walks. It also raised more than $940,000.
New this year, participants are asked to bring their dogs to the Heart Walk and participate in the top dog contest sponsored by Mayo Clinic and Beson4Media Group.
The opening ceremony begins at 8 a.m. The walk begins at 9 a.m.
