Day of Remembrance and Service
Local families will gather at Everbank Field to honor all of the men and women who serve this nation and community. There will be a moment of silence at 9:11 a.m. to remember those who died on September 11th. There will be a free IHOP pancake breakfast to honor first responders and their families. Everyone who attends this event is asked to bring a canned good to help provide 220 bags of groceries for local families. This event begins at 9 a.m. and it is sponsored by the Women of Color Cultural Foundation along with the Corporation for National and Community Service, Duval County Health Department, IHOP, Jaguar Foundation, Handson Jacksonville, Art by Nature Garden Center, JCCI and others. Ceremony of Remembrance

The City of St. Augustine will hold a Ceremony of Remembrance on Tuesday. It will be held at the St. Augustine Fire Department’s main station on Malaga Street beginning at 8:30 a.m. The public is invited and encouraged to participate. For more information, call 904-825-1004.

Fallen Heroes of September 11th

The community of Palm Coast will remember the fallen heroes of September 11th on Tuesday. There will be a ceremony at Palm Coast Heroes Park beginning at 8 a.m. on Palm Coast Parkway NW. For more information, call 386-986-2300.
