It’s an opportunity to enjoy good food, see the latest trends in fashion, meet celebrity guests and learn more about health. The Southern Women’s Show will begin Thursday at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. It will run through Sunday.
You can meet Teresa Guidice from the Real Housewives of New Jersey. She will answer your questions about the reality show and her book. Also, the Southern Women’s show turns 25 this year and as part of the celebration, all guests born in 1987 get free show admission with a valid ID. Chevrolet makes a comeback to the show. Guests can take a spin and get a $5 Starbucks gift card. Plus, Chevrolet will donate $5 to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides against Breast Cancer for each test drive taken at the show. One of the most popular features at this year’s show is the Annual Mother and Daughter Look-A-Like Contest. On Sunday, moms and daughters will take to the stage to win prizes. The first 100 guests on Friday will receive a reusable shopping bag from Southern Peanut Growers. On Saturday, the first 100 guests to take advantage of the free vision screenings in Dr. Ted Brink and Associates Exhibit will receive a special gift.
Show hours are Thursday 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m. -8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door, $8 in advance online, $8 in advance at participating Walgreen’s $5 for children ages 6-12 and free for children under the age of 6 with a paying adult and $5 after 5 p.m. with a Girls Night Out coupon.
