Time for the Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair

Get ready for rides, funnel cakes and plenty of fun.  The Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair opens Wednesday and runs November 11.

It will be held at the Fairgrounds in downtown Jacksonville. Hours are Monday through Thursday 5 p.m., Friday 3 p.m.-midnight, Saturdays 10 a.m. -11 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. -10 p.m.

Wednesday, October 31st:

Gates open at 5 p.m.

$3 Dollar Day

5:30-7:30 p.m.:Safe Halloween for Kids (only kids 12 and under will be admitted in costumes)

8 p.m.: D. Vincent Williams

Thursday, November 1st:

Gates Open at 5 p.m.

Military Day (all military personnel admitted free with valid military I.D.)

8 p.m. -Chris Cagle performs

Friday, November 2^nd:

Gates open at 3 p.m.

Seniors 65 and older admitted free

8 p.m.-J.T. Hodges performs

Saturday, November 3^rd:

Gates open at 10 a.m.

Students age 17 and under admitted free

Sunday, November 4^th:

Gates open at 10 a.m.

Free Gate Admission with valid Jaguar vs. Detroit Lions ticket or stub

Gates open at 5 p.m.

7 p.m.- Open Limousin Show

8 p.m.- Lee Brice Performs

Tuesday, November 6^th:

Gates open at 5 p.m.

Family Day (one child under the age of 12 admitted free with the purchase of an adult ticket)

7 p.m. –Ghirardelli Chocolate Championship

8 p.m. Florida Georgia Line performs

Wednesday, November 7^th:

Gates open at 5 p.m.

6:30 p.m.-Collegiate Scholarship Contest

8 p.m. - Pure Prairie League performs

Thursday, November 8^th:

Gates open at 5 p.m.

Free gate admission with a valid Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts ticket or stub

Friday, November 9^th:

Gates open at 3 p.m.

Seniors 65 and older admitted free

8:30 p.m. –NovemBEER fest

8 p.m. –Lauren Alanina performs

Saturday, November 10^th:

Gates open at 10 a.m.

Students age 17 and under admitted free

2 p.m. –Pillsbury Pet Ritz Pie Baking Contest

7 p.m. - Open Santa Gertudis Show

Sunday, November 11^th:

Gates open at 10 a.m.

Family Day (one child under the age of 12 admitted free with a purchase of a full price adult ticket)

2 p.m.-Wine Down the Fair and Amazing Race at the Fair

You can also purchase an Express Pass Wristband. The express pass includes admission and unlimited rides for $20 for all days of the Fair. You can purchase tickets at area Walgreen’s stores.
