Organizers say you are sure to laugh, cry or dance at a play this weekend. “I do… for better or for worse? Will be performed beginning Thursday at Boleros Ballroom Center on Atlantic Boulevard. This is a story about a woman who dares not to look in the mirror and face the skin before her. She battles with acceptance until she meets a man. General admission is $10, $15 at the door. Teens In Foster Care Canned Food Drive
Local foster teenagers will be at the Sam's Club on Busch Drive on Thursday collecting donations for the Clara White Mission. You can drop off canned food and personal hygiene products beginning at 3 p.m. The canned food drive will end at 6 p.m.

Moonlight Movies
The City of Jacksonville Beach and PRI Productions will kick off the 11th season of Moonlight Movies on Friday. It is free to the public. Organizers encourage you to arrive early and the movie will be shown on a huge screen on stage at the Sea Walk Pavilion. Friday’s movie is “Babe the Gallant Pig.” It will begin at 9 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and picnic to enjoy.

Art Walk
Amiro Art and Found will celebrate its first year anniversary during the First Friday Art Walk in St. Augustine on Friday. The public is invited to enjoy downtown and art beginning at 5 p.m.

The Marvelous Wonderettes
Travel back to 1958 and the Springfield High Prom where we meet the Wonderettes. They are four girls with hopes and dreams and a voice to die for. The Hippodrome Theatre will present the off-Broadway musical “The Marvelous Wonderettes” beginning Friday. North Florida Texaco Country Showdown Auditions
The 31st annual Texaco Country Showdown’s North Florida competition is set for Friday at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak. In addition to Friday’s audition, there will also be one on June 15 and 22nd. Winners from compete in July. Beethoven’s Fifth

Micah’s Place Fundraiser

Strike Jax Gala & Silent Auction
You can see the work of local artists made from bowling pins Friday during the Strike Jax Gala and Silent Auction. It will be held at Studio 121 at 121 West Forsyth Street beginning at 6 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Wolfson Children's Hospital Emergency Services Fund.

Jaguars Caravan
The Jacksonville Jaguars will make a stop in Brunswick,Georgia on Friday for the first stop on the Jaguars Caravan. It will be held in downtown Brunswick at the corner of Newcastle and Gloucester Streets beginning at 6 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come out and join the players, ROAR cheerleaders and other special guests. This event is free and open to the public

Riverside Arts Market

Hale & Hearty 7K
It’s an opportunity to see the Riverside/Avondale area and help celebrate healthy communities. The Hale and Hearty 7K will be held Saturday at the Riverside Arts Market beginning at 8 a.m. The 7K will start at the Riverside Arts Market and the course will take runners through two of Riverside’s most popular parks. It will also finish at the arts Market. Immediately following the race, there will be a 1 mile fun Run starting under the Fuller Warren Bridge. Motorcycle Ride/Car and Truck Show
There will be a charity motorcycle ride/car and truck show on Saturday. Ride the Darkness charity ride will be held at 11503 Philips Highway on Saturday. The fee to enter is $25 for bikes, cars and trucks, $10 for bike passengers. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The ride leaves at 9:30 a.m. In addition to the ride, local artists Brady Clampitt and Bill Rice/David Winn will provide live music. There will be a silent auction, raffle prize, bouncy houses and other kids’ events.

Food and Wine Fest
The city of Palm Coast will host its first annual International Food and Wine Festival beginning Saturday. It will be held in Central Park. Those who attend can enjoy global cuisine, along with music from several bands. There will also be a Kids Zone. Hours are from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday. Community Garden Grand Opening
The Lakeshore Area Preservation Society and Anyone Can plant a Seed will host the grand opening of the Lakeshore Community Garden on Saturday. The garden is located at the ball park of Lake Shore Middle School on Lake Shore Boulevard. The grand opening will be held at 12:30 p.m. There will also be a community celebration including a cookout and other activities. Tomato and cucumber sprouts that can be used to start a garden will be available while supplies last.
