Dog Park Opens
Jacksonville’s newest apartment community will celebrate the grand opening of its dog park on Saturday. It is located at 8680 Baymeadows Road East near State Road 9A and I-295 East. The Cabana Club is the first apartment community to provide a dog park for residents. For more information, call 904-374-2700. Hours for the park opening are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars will be back in action in front of a hometown crowd on Sunday. They will take on the Chicago Bears beginning at 4:05 p.m. at Everbank Field. To purchase a ticket, go to www.jaguars.com.

Fall Gala
The Council on Aging of Nassau County will host its 9th annual fall Gala on Sunday. It will be held at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation. For $125 contribution, donors will enjoy food with select wines and have a chance to bid on items during a live auction. The funds raised from this event go to help local organizations. Amelia Island Jazz Festival
Enjoy Jazz on a Sunday evening during a free concert in Amelia Park. It will begin at 4 p.m. and will feature the U.S. Navy Dixieland Band and TGIF. Before that concert, you can enjoy music by Les DeMerle, Bonnie Eisele and other guests. Seatings for this concert begin at noon and 2 p.m.
