The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is having their first annual Wild West Show and Cowboy Mounted Shooting event at the Horseman's Club in Palatka, Saturday, June 30, at 7pm.
This fundraiser is for the Ten-24 Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that provides a support network for all Putnam County law enforcement agencies, their employees, and families.
This fun-filled family oriented event will feature riding and roping events, costume contest and door prizes. The cowboy mounted shooting contest will feature a team of Putnam law enforcement officers (the posse) versus non-law enforcement shooters (the outlaws). Shooting is done with specially constructed blanks that are safe for the public and horses.
So pack up the family and come out to the show for an evening of fun and excitement. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the gate, at any of the three Sheriff's Office locations or by contacting David Dwyer at 386-325-3570.
