Recipes 4 the Road is celebrating its fifteenth year. The program was developed to raise awareness of and help reduce the number of drinking and driving fatalities that occur during the holiday season.
These books are filled with delicious and original non-alcoholic recipes from sponsors and Northeast Florida restaurants along with helpful tips and facts. These recipes offer tasty alternatives for designated drivers at parties, or for you to enjoy at home with a friend or loved one.

Blackberry Basil Tango

Ingredients:
½ Lime, Juiced
2 oz Simple Syrup
4 Blackberries
5 Basil Leaves
Bastil Top (garnish
Soda Water
Preparation: In a glass build lime juice, simple syrup, blackberries and basil; muddle. Add ice and stir well. Strain over ice. Add soda water and tumble lightly. Garnish with basil tops.

Ingredients:
Hot Apple Cider
Pumpkin Whip Cream
Graham Cracker Crumbs
Caramel
Preparation: Pour hot apple cider into a mug then top with pumpkin whip cream. Add graham cracker crumbs to the whip cream and drizzle with caramel. Yum!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Ingredients:
1 oz Grenadine
Chocolate Syrup
1 oz Whipped Cream
3 oz Half & Half
Strawberry
Preparation: Pour all ingredients besides strawberry into shake filled with ice. Shake well, strain into martini glass and add strawberry for a garnish

The Hot Shot

Ingredients:
1 oz Vanilla Flavored Syrup
1 oz Half n Half Cream
1 shot Espresso
Preparation: Pour vanilla flavored syrup in the bottom of a shot glass. Delicately, down the side of the glass, so as to not mix the two, pour half n half cream over the vanilla syrup. Brew shot of espresso. Again, delicately over a metal spoon to cool slightly and not mix, pour the shot of espresso over the cream. Drink as a shot, the cream will cool the hot espresso and leave you with a wonderful vanilla flavor at the end. Enjoy!

Peppermint Hot Chocolate ***Voted Fan Favorite****

Ingredients:
1/3 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
4 cups Mils
1/3 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
¼ cup Crushed Peppermint Sticks
Pinch of Salt
Whipped Cream
Marshmallows
Preparation: Heat milk in a medium saucepan and slowly mix in cocoa powder until dissolved. Add semisweet chocolate and peppermint. Simmer over medium heat until it starts to boil. Remove from heat, add salt, stir and pour into mugs. Top with whipped cream and marshmallows.
