JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Paul McCartney confirmed Monday that he will "reluctantly heed medical advice" to rest longer to fully recuperate from the virus that forced the postponement of his recent dates in Japan and Korea, and that will push back his United States tour dates.
The June 22 Jacksonville concert is now scheduled for October 25.

"I'm sorry but it's going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again," McCartney posted on his website. "I'm feeling great, but taking my docs' advice to take it easy for just a few more days. Look forward to seeing you all soon."
The 'Out There' world tour will resume July 5 in Albany, N.Y. All June tour dates were pushed back to October. Tickets for the original concerts will be honored.
The concerts on this tour will include songs spanning his 50-year career, from the Beatles and Wings and as a solo artist.
