Summer Jazz Series continues at Jacksonville Beach on Sunday

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – The Jacksonville Beach Summer Jazz Series continues this weekend at the Sea Walk Pavilion.

The second concert in the series, which begins at 5 p.m. Sunday, features Nathan Mitchell, Jessy J and headliner Nick Colionne.

The three national recording artists vary in their jazz techniques and bring their own style to the famed genre.

Mitchell, a producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and singer, is becoming one of the most sought-after talents on the national smooth jazz market. Since his 2011 entrance in the smooth jazz industry as a keyboardist, organist and vocalist, he has performed with a diverse list of some of the biggest artists in the music industry?.

Jessy J burst onto the contemporary jazz scene in 2008, blending her love for Latin rhythms and jazz on her chart-topping, award-winning debut album "Tequila Moon."

Colionne, who takes the stage at 7:30 p.m., is known for his dynamic, musically eclectic live performances. His latest album "Feel the Heat" demonstrates his dynamic command of the guitar,
rich baritone vocals and varied music styles.

Admission is free. Refreshments will be available for purchase, and blankets and lawn chairs are permitted.
