Welcome to Rockville returns to Metro Park

What you need to know before you go

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Welcome to Rockville 2016 takes over Metropolitan Park on Saturday and Sunday with a mix of hard rock and modern metal bands.

The first day of the event will feature Shinedown, Disturbed, 3 Doors Down, Asking Alexandria, Bring Me the Horizon, Sixx A.M., Hellyeah and more. The second day, it’s Five Finger Death Punch,Rob Zombie, Megadeth, Lamb of God, Cypress Hill, Sevendust and more.

The festival runs 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. both days and two-day tickets are $135, for four for $400.

Know before you go:

There are locker rentals on site for small person items. These lockers have unlimited cell charging and will be available to help you avoid losing any personal items during the fest.

Once you have entered the venue, you will not be allowed to leave and come back in.

The event will be held rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges will be given for weather. In the event of rain, they advise ponchos and rain boots.

Things not allowed:

  • No coolers or picnic baskets
  • No outside food or beverages
  • No video cameras
  • No audio recording devices
  • No professional cameras. No cameras with removable lenses.
  • No selfie sticks
  • No lasers or laser pointers
  • No drones
  • No chairs of any kind
  • No umbrellas
  • No hula hoops or totems
  • No weapons of any kind
  • No fireworks or explosives
  • No musical instruments of any kind
  • No bags, backpacks, draw-string bags or duffle bags
  • No drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • No pets with exception of documented service animals
  • No colors or patches
  • No chains, chain wallets, or spikes
  • No confetti
  • No aerosol cans
  • No glass containers
  • No unauthorized vending or advertising

Organizers do not provide on-site storage for prohibited items.

What is allowed:

  • One factory-sealed bottle of water (20 oz. max)
  • Cellphones
  • Sunscreen
  • Binoculars
  • Small, point-and-shoot digital camera
  • Hats and sunglasses
  • Earplugs

Organizers strongly encourage you to not bring bags of any sort. If you must bring a bag, these are the guidelines: Small purse or hand-held clutch (maximum size: 4.5” x 6.5”); A small or medium sized clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag (maximum size: 12” x 6” x 12”); and a clear one-gallon re-sealable zip top bag (maximum is freezer size: 10” x 12” x 2”)
