ET has your first look at "Life on Mars," the new ABC fall series based on a Brit import. The series is the story of Sam Tyler (JASON O'MARA), a high-tech police detective who, after a car crash, time travels back to 1972, where he is still a cop, but has to adjust to old-school ways of doing the job.

ABC is so high on the new drama that it has given it the cushy time slot -- 10 p.m. -- following "Grey's Anatomy" on Thursday nights.
