MySpace Helps Reunite Siblings After 18 Years Apart

A special airport reunion on Friday brought some good news to two Jacksonville women who said they spent years looking for their long lost brother and sister.

After 13 years of searching, the women finally found their twin siblings on MySpace.

Jenesa Ojeda and her sister were reunited with their long lost siblings, Eric and Erica, for the first time in 18 years.

"I am shocked and relieved and happy and emotional -- every kind of emotion you can feel pretty much," said Ojeda said.

Also greeting the siblings at the airport was their mother, Esther Cruz, who had to give her children up as babies.

The twins were put into foster care as infants, and were later adopted.

"I have paperwork from years behind. I used to drive to New York and look every summer and look at all the children and see if they looked like them -- nothing," said Cruz. "God answered my prayers."

After more than a decade of searching for the twins in New York City, Ojeda found the twins on MySpace.

"I sent her a message. I was looking through and said that's got to be her. So, I sent her a message and I asked her if it was her birthday, and she said, 'Yes. Are you my sister?" said Ojeda.

Two weeks after that message was sent, the family has begun making up for lost time.
