Florida Will Pay To Help Smokers Kick Habit

Last year, the state of Florida spent almost $60 million on anti-smoking campaigns targeted at young people.

This year, officials are taking a more direct approach to get smokers to put down their cigarettes: paying for nicotine patches, lozenges and other aids more to any Floridian who want to kick the habit.

The aid is subject to income, but even affluent smokers can get some befit to the program.
