Business Disinfects Cars To Prevent Flu

Employees Sanitize Car For $3

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- With the spread of the H1N1 virus, more and more people are taking precautions as this year's flu season approaches, trying to protect their families from the virus.

While some people use disinfecting products around their home, one Jacksonville Beach business is offering another kind of cleaning.

They're disinfecting cars to fight the flu by using more than soap and suds.

Car Wash Fights Flu

At the Clean Getaway car wash at Jacksonville Beach, there's something called a flu season special.

For $3, employees will sanitize the inside of your car from the steering wheel to the floor mats.

The owner said your car can be full of germs, and this is one way to help kill them.

"We don't know that this particular antibacterial cleanup is going to fight the swine flu, for instance, but obviously if there's germs all over your car, you're going to pick up some kind of sickness from it," owner Dave Danzeisen said.

Danzeisen said he will offer the service for as long as it stays popular.
