If you're like many people, you are thinking of ways to spice up your exercise routine as the new year rolls around.
In today's Health Minute, Susan Hendricks introduces us to some who are doing just that- by learning some new 'tricks.'

BORED WITH TRADITIONAL GYMS, FAITH RUSSLER DECIDED TO TAKE HER WORKOUT TO NEW 'HEIGHTS'... LITERALLY.
This is challenging, its full of fun, and its different and helps me feel strong.
CIRCUS ARTS FITNESS IS A FULL-BODY WORKOUT THAT USES TRADITIONAL CIRCUS EQUIPMENT TO WORK YOUR CORE, UPPER AND LOWER BODY MUSCLES.
People come in and learn how to do tricks on the trapeze, rope climbing, tight wire walking and juggling
CARRIE HELLER CREATED THIS CLASS BASED ON HER OWN EXPERIENCE AS A PROFESSIONAL TRAPEZE ARTIST.
The fitness also helps strengthen the upper body when we're doing a lot of trapeze work, and the core is something that really is strengthened when you're tightwire walking.
IT'S MORE THAN THE PHYSICAL BENEFITS THAT KEEPS THESE STUDENTS 'HANGING' AROUND.
When you complete a trick that you've been working on, its an awesome feeling. So you just want to keep on, keep on going.
PARTICIPANTS SAY THIS CLASS IS A WORKOUT FOR YOUR MIND, BODY AND SOUL.
I feel very accomplished, I feel like I've really worked.
FOR TODAY'S HEALTH MINUTE, I'M SUSAN HENDRICKS.
