Free heart health screenings today

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The annual Take It To Heart event aimed to help educate women about heart disease is Wednesday at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds, with free health screenings offered.

Blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar screenings will be available, along with testing of body mass index and consultations with cardiologists and pharmacists.

Screenings will be available from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. the fairgrounds, 510 Fairgrounds Place, in the sports complex.

Memorial Hospital, the Baker-Gilmour Cardiovascular Institute and Walgreen's sponsor the event, which is Channel 4's featured Positively Jax event for March.
