The type of sugar you eat could lead to overeating, according to a new study from Yale University.
Researchers found after drinking a fructose beverage, the brain doesn't register the feeling of being full as it does when simple glucose is consumed.
The study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association is the first to compare the human brain's response to both fructose and glucose, two types of simple sugars used separately and together to sweeten food.
