Kids and adults battling colds, strep throat, and sinus infections

What's Going Around

JACKSONVILLE, Fla – It might be going around in your kid's classroom.  It's clear by what doctors are treating that germs are spreading rapidly in the closer quarters.  But it's not only the kids who are visiting the doctor.

In Duval County the CareSpot on Southside Boulevard is busy.  Doctors are treating sinusitis, pink eye and three cases of Mononucleosis.

In Clay County at the CareSpot in Middleburg there's a lot of strep throat going around with the kids back in school.  Chest congestion and sinus infections are also on the list of complaints.

Doctons in Nassau County at the CareSpot in Yulee are seeing a lot of patients coming in with strep throat, sinus infections and ear infections.

At Healing Arts Urgent Care, in St Johns County,  they're treating strep in younger patients and a few adults.  Also sinus infections, viral cold symptoms and insect bites are also some of the complaints from patients.  Ear infections are also going around in both kids and adults.
