August 14: What doctors say is the number one mistake people make when being active outdoors.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla – This heat is really taking a toll on people and doctors say the key is finding shade and drinking water.  In St. Johns County the doctors at Healing Arts Urgent Care say dehydration is a really big problem. They've had patients come in with slurred speech and vomiting.  They say they'll typically give IV fluids and said if you're sweating you need to drink something with electrolytes like Gatorade or Powerade.

Also in Duval County doctors at the CareSpot on Southside Boulevard are treating pink eye, strep throat and Gastroenteritis.  That's what people typically call stomach flu.
